BECOME A SPECIALTY DIVER

As you complete a series of specialties, you’ll automatically earn the SSI Specialty Diver, SSI Advanced Open Water Diver, and SSI Master Diver ratings. These credentials not only showcase your diving competency but also lay a strong foundation for even more exciting adventures ahead.

With SSI advanced training programs. Whatever your passion is, we have an SSI Specialty for your need, and you can choose Deep diving, Wreck diving, Nitrox, Night diving, Navigation, and more

Prerequisites
★ Have the following SSI Certifications or equivalent from a recognized training agency: Open Water Certification

Requirements to Become an SSI Specialty Diver
- Complete 2 SSI Specialty Programs
from a variety of specialties such as Deep Diving, Navigation, Night Diving, Wreck Diving, Nitrox (Enriched Air), Perfect Buoyancy, and more.
Each specialty program includes theory sessions, confined water training (if applicable), and open water dives.
- Log at Least 12 Dives
These dives can be accumulated during your training or personal dives after certification.
- Get Certified by an SSI Dive Center or Instructor
After completing the specialty courses and logging the required dives, your instructor will certify you as an SSI Specialty Diver.
